macbond

MACbond Double-coated tapes eliminate the need for metal fasteners or messy liquid adhesives and speed the assembly of a wide array of sub-assembly parts. Engineered for the most demanding bonding or laminating applications, MACbond double-coated tapes feature general purpose or high performance rubber-based adhesives, or a high performance acrylic adhesive on polyester, polypropylene or "Blackbond" carriers. All MACbond assures a solid bond with minimal increase in total product thickness, while providing lasting durability and long term performance. Polycoated liners are available on several MACbond constructions where moisture resistance and layflat are critical after lamination and die-cutting.

MACtac Adhesive Tapes & Products

... and products are used in a wide range of industries including label printing, graphic design, packaging, digital imaging, retail display, fleet graphics, assembly engineering, automotive assembly, and medical device assembly.

MACfilm Unsupported free film pressure-sensitive adhesives are engineered and manufactured to assure smooth, low-profile bonding for a wide variety of substrates. Moisture resistant, polycoated release liner resists curl and tunneling for complete edge-to-edge bonding of laminated and die cut parts, even under high humidity conditions. MACfilm transfer tapes are available in 2, 3, and 5 mil thicknesses for close tolerance bonding, intermediate applications, and complete bonding of uneven, textured or porous surfaces.
Features and Uses
Ideal for bonding plastic parts, harness clips, foam panels, and lamination to a variety of plastic extrusions and molded parts. Replacement of alternatives for rivets, clips, stitching, liquid glues or other types of mechanical fasteners. Excellent cushioning and sound absorbtion when used in sub-assemblies; also provides resistance to moisture, dust and dirt in similar applications. Edge-to-Edge bond provides even distribution of stress between bonded surfaces.
